I am really shocked to report that a staff member at the Truworths at the Killarney mall took my card and slipped it into her pocket. After she had rung up my purchase I asked for my card and she insisted she had given it to me. I showed her that I do not have my card and it was then that I saw her pull my card out of her pocket. Her excused was she thought it was her card. This is really shocking. I felt really uneasy as the cashier next to her started to laugh and act as if it as normal for someone to put a customers card in their pocket. If I had forgotten and only realised that my card was missing when I got home it would have been too late. I have her employee number as stated above and would like to have the headoffice phone me back. This is unacceptable and they should also check the occurances of reports of lost cards or desputed purchases at that branch.
