Purchased LG Dishwasher on 12/10/2013 tested it at home gave errors and did not work. The error was related to water leakage according to the manual - I checked the pipes and the water input and saw no leakage, the inlet is the same one I have been using for my washing machine which does not report any error.
Returned device on 18/10/2013, Andrew at store said they would test the device and get back to us. Followed up with Andrew on the morning of 19/10/13, he said he was busy testing it then, so I said I'd go through to the store to check as well. When I got there they showed me the device was working there. I explained to them that it's not working at my house, so I couldn't have something that I could not use so I would like a refund and they can sell it to someone else. Both Andrew and the manager Wikus refused to give me a refund, because it was working, I asked them what I was to do with something I could not use, and they told me they could "buy it from me" for half the price I payed!
I am not trying to take advantage, I simply want my money back for something which I can not use, they are trying to take advantage of me as an individual.
