Come in and swap the dial for the correct one

I purchased a Defy glass, top of the range stove from Hirschs. (Cost R 11 500.00) It was delivered the following day and the next morning an electrician came to connect the appliance.
I only had time that afternoon to look at the instructions to see how the oven worked. I couldn't find anything to set the temperature. The "thermostat dial" had no temp settings on. I called the store, the sales lady who sold me the appliance had the afternoon off.
So I requested that I speak to someone who could look at the model on display to check the dials/knobs. It turned out that Defy had allowed the appliance to leave the factory with a "warming drawer" control dial on the
thermostat dial! What "quality control"!!!
The sales person told me to prise the dial off my brand new stove, bring it in & exchange it with the one on the demo model. - What kind of after sales service is that? Its like help yourself! After spending a large sum of money on a new item I expected better...
