This morning we had breakfast at Food Lovers Market, Tokai. We then bought food and vegetables. The shop was not packed with people and when I arrived at the Fish dept, there was only one customer in front of me. There were three staff behind the counter (2 females and 1 male). I waited for a good 15 minutes trying to get attention but no one took any notice of me. To make it worse, another customer came up to the counter and he was immediately served (by the male staff member) ahead of me. I waited for 3 more minutes afterwards, still no service. So I gave up and went to buy meat. On the way back, We again stopped at the Fish counter (no other customers there) and they ignored me AGAIN. So we left in disgust and no fish for dinner. It costs absolutely nothing to acknowledge a customer, I am furious. Perhaps I should take a water pistol with me next time or better still, management need to either put a bomb under this dept or train their staff in customer service
