Visited Markhams Gateway on Thurs 3rd Oct at around 15.10. Went in to purchase a cell phone. All staff on duty were absolutely useless with no concern for the customers in the store! A black male staff member went to the back to get the phone-came back 15 minutes later, empty handed. An Indian female then went to the back of the store and returned with phone in hand. She left it at the counter, and walked around the store, while busy on a phone call. She returned to the back of the counter, still busy on a call while an Indian male was left to deal with the long line of customers. When I finally reach the front of the line, he arrogantly tells me that he is not going to "sell the phone" to me cos it will hold up the line of customers, and someone else must do the sale. I patiently wait for another staff member to assist me. All this while, the Indian female and black male are standing behind the counter, both busy on calls, not bothered about the customer who needs assistance! 10min later, the black male goes to the back of the store to get a starter pack! I waited for 15 minutes more and walked out. I refuse to support a store with incompetent arrogant useless staff!! Goodbye Markhams.
