On Sunday 22 September 2013, my friend Mrs Reinet Krige got arrested because one of her young kids forgot to take the milk out of the trolley. The Security stuffed her and her 4 kids in a small room, without allowing her to have her say, refused to let her talk to the Manager (who until this day) did not make an appearance. Her daughter (9yrs old) was traumatised because she forgot about the milk and cried the whole night. They had to wait in this small stuffy room until a friend could come and fetch the kids, and to top it all they then put her in the back of the police van like a criminal and then expected her to sign an admission of guilt which she refused to do, because she was not guilty. For someone who spend over R2000 a week at Pick n Pay Melkbos and who is well known to the staff, I think it is disgusting behaviour. Good Bye Pick 'n Pay Melkbos, I spend at least R7000 a month with you, but that is all history, I will spend my money at Checkers where the staff is well trained and friendly. Your staff is not trained, some of them don't even greet, have no idea how to address the customer, I just had enough of your poor service. Checker is 5 mins down the road!!!
