The incident took place on Wednesday 27 February between 13:35 and 14:00 at Sinoville Pick & Pay. Should be on security cameras as well. There was a special trolley put out by Pick & Pay with cold drink bottles etc. My son WG took a stainless steel bottle from the trolley with the intention to buy it. There were alot of Pick & Pay staff members around the trolley and almost no customers could get through to see what was on special. This is always the same story. As soon as the specials / sale items go on display the Pick and Pay staff runs and blocks of the tables in order for no paying customer to get close.
Patricia Ndaka (Pick and Pay staff member) asked my son if she can see the bottle infront of other staff members, good mannered as he is he gave her the bottle to look at it. When he asked her for the bottle she denied that it was his bottle although David (shop manager) and other staff members corrected and said it was WG's bottle. She ran to the back with the bottle while screaming at me, WG and the Manager in front of other customers and staff members.
David was trying to be helpful towards us but he did not act upon his staff as he was supposed to. Nothing happened.
