Arrested for in her own Pick n Pay, Berkenhead, Melkbos. Reinet left her two older girls in charge of unpacking the pram (twin stroller for her boys) when she returned with the other item she paid with her gold credit card (no limits) and started to leave. Security stopped her as the girls didn't' see the 1l milk in bottom of the pram. Reinet was taken to a small room with her four kids while they called the police, the manager didn't take the time to listen to her, if he had this whole situation could have been avoided. Reinet was taken away in the police van, in front of her kids and fingerprinted etc. I spoke to the other manager the next day and he agreed the situation was handled badly and he was trying to resolve the situation. Reinet contacted the Regional Manager and while explaining her side of the story he HUNG UP ON HER. I am totally disgusted and shocked by what happened to Reinet, her poor daughter is totally distraught as she unpacked the pram and left the items behind, she believes it is her fault this happened. There are already lots of local mum now refusing to shop at PICKNPAY MELKBOS! We want them NAMED and SHAMED!
