Ought a 7340 philips battery shaver from clicks robertson on 23/3/2011 for R464, 99. gave it back to clicks for repair (date unknown as clicks kept the receipt) and got it back in good order approx 2 weeks later. again gave it to clicks for repair on 3/12/2012. enquired after approx 2 weeks but no joy. got a phone call from clicks robertson on 23/1/2013 as follows: "although your shaver is still under guarantee, the blades are not. on condition you PRE-PAY R287, 70 philips will repair"
I am not happy with the comment that the shaver is guaranteed but not the blades, but cannot do much about it. disgusted that I should be asked to prepay for the repair.
I bought my first philishave in 1953 and have gone thru about a dozen models since then, but never again!!
