I went into Truworths about 3 to 4 weeks ago to exchange a gift given to me by my daughter. As it was a gift I did not have the slip with me and the woment behind the counter gave me a very hard time to exchnage this unsuitable item. So I told her not to worry that I would get the slip and exchange the item elsewhere which I did. On turning away from the counter the women told me to voetsek firstly Im not a dog and was very upset by what she had said I then left the store but thought "I dont need to take this kind of treatment and went back to look for the manager which I found in the Daniel Hechter store I told him what had happened and he wanted to take it up with the employee warning me that she would deny all that she had said even though I had a witness with me I told him not to worry I did not want to make any trouble I just wanted him to be aware of what was going on in his store. After pointing out the employee to him as she did not have a name badge he informed me that she had resigned that morning so I thought that is why she was rude to me but i have since returned on 3 occassions and she is still there. I think I am going to cancel my account due to the treatment.
