I have received extremely incompetent service from the Vision Works - Rene Vrey Optometrists from Dis-Chem at the Woodmead Retail Park branch. I went to get new glasses from them and after having an eye test and choosing my frame I waited for my glasses. First annoyance was not getting notified when my glasses arrived because they sent the notification sms to the wrong phone number after I wrote that down in my patient file. Then I get my glasses and I cannot see anything through them. I bring them back, have to go for another eye test and still dont get notified when they arrived because they sent the sms to the wrong number again even after I wrote it down on a piece of paper telling them this is my phone number! Then a family member of mine goes to them and they do exactly the same thing to them as well as turn their glasses into almost black sunglasses after asking for a SLIGHT tint for driving. My family member has gone to that optometrist in total of six times now because of their incompetence and their glasses are still not ready! I would not recommend anyone going to that optometrist at all.
