I'm on the OnePlan Elite plan. Last year I went to an optometrist for my one pair of single vision glasses. The money for the eye test and spectacles were loaded on the card and I got my glasses within 5 days.
This year I went to the same optometrist in Gezina, Simply Eyes R280 was loaded for the eye test. I was then told to get a quote from this optometrist and forward it to OnePlan which I did.
A few days later I got an sms from Oneplan saying that the quote has been declined.
This means i have now paid for the eye test and got no glasses.
Why am I paying R1600pm for this medical insurance if I cannot get a simple pair of glasses? It seems to me as if the paying customer is pulling on the short end... once again.
Very dissappointed and angry
