I finally gave in to Foschini's pestering invitations for me to come open an account with them earlier this year. but when I want to open an aditional card for my mom who stays in a different province as me and whom I only see once a year if I ever see her at all in a year then I'm being sent from pillar to post. My situation is that I stay alone in Cape Town and my family (including my kids) is in the Free State. They are the reason why I opened the account in the first place. When I get to the store I'm being told that she has to be in the store for me to open it for her. which I understand that it might have been some protocol that was set up 2000BC but my case is different. We are very seldom together. I am at a point where I feel that I will have to close the account then because I find myself overspending on this account if I have to buy and then courier the stuff over to her. I have done everything that I was told to do in order for me to get her the card but unable to find help.
