I closed my account at the beginning of the year in Foschini Centurion (february) by paying the outstanding amount in store and them closing it for me. I was angry because Foschini put me on a 12 month account instead of a 6 month and they said I could not change it before I settled the account. A while back I started receiving statements again. I phoned the call centre and again I was promised my account was closed. Today I visited the store with my newest statement to close my account. They remembered me confirming they call centre had promised to close the account.

Now what angers me the most is you have been taking r20 a month on a debit order since February. THATS!!! The call centre said after my payment foshini centurion reversed r175 of my payment with no explanation because I paid the full amount.

Now, I will not pay the r40 you have charged me with interest! It is to activate an account without the holder's permission. I DO NOT want a Foschini account! Please sort this out immediately as I will open a SAPS case if I EVER get a statement again.
