I bought a second-hand laptop from Cash Converters Boksburg on the 16th of September 2012 which was covered by a 6-month guarantee. According to their policy they will repair the product twice and the third time I am supposed to get a cash refund.
But I didn't get the refund because they said that I loaded another operating system which damaged the hard-drive. I loaded the Operating System after the computer was acting up when I brought it home. I don't understand how loading an operating system could cause a hard-drive to fail.
They are just looking for an excuse not to refund me after they failed to fix this problem twice.
