Faulty hd on Lenovo laptop less 2years old

I bought my Lenono at HiFi Corporation on 11/11/2011 -

From 10/2013 I had problems, it just stop dead after a time, for no reason at all.
I took it for repaires and they found out that the hard drive was faulty.
FAULTY before it's 2 YEARS old???
They lend me a hard drive just to get my work done.
I've got 4 other make hard drives, older than this machine's hard drive!!! They are running just like new.
Lots of people told me not to buy Lenovo, but I ignored them, now I am stuck with a 500g hard drive worth nothing after just 2 years?
Can you help me in any way?
