I opened an account at Macro Nelspruit, reasons to begin a credit record. I signed for a debit order on my cheque account. Debit order was set to go off on the 25 of each month and I will pay everything of over 6 months. I receive my salary on the 25. 1 week ago Makro I received a sms saying my account is in arrears. I went to Makro Nelspruit and spoke to customer care. I asked her why my debit order wasn't going off.
She said it was because I don't have sufficient funds and after 2 months the debit order automatic stopped, (not the reason). She read my account number and told me they had my cheque account up as savings. She automatically said it was my mistake and I asked her to look on the origenal hard copy agreement.
On the original I have given the correct account number and said it was a cheque account. Due to unknown circumstances Makro Nelspruit captured my account details incorrectly. The results of this is Makro Nelspruit reported me to ITC and now I am known as a slow payer.
I paid my total balance received from Blake collections. Makro should clear my name at the ITC.
