SERVICE???

I settled my account in full on 19 August 2013, I accidently put the wrong account number on my payment.
Every second day someone phoned telling me that my account is in arrears and then I explained to them that I made a mistake, I also sent through an email explaining my mistake. still they kept phoning to tell me I have to pay my account. We are trying to buy a house and the bank did a credit check and it shows that my Makro account is in arrears. did speak to Makro yesterday and they say that my account is paid in full. I asked for a letter confirming this. I need this VERY URGENT to give to the bank. I would have received it an hour after the conversation and still I have not received anything. This is delaying our application for the house. This is pathetic.
