Pathetic repair service on Sony D/Cam

I purchased a Sony D/Cam on 19-05-2013, returned on 06-07-2013 because the screen went white. Camera was still taking photos and worked except for the screen. Two and a half weeks later I received a call saying that the camera was "water damaged" and I was quoted R1400 to repair a R700 camera. I queried the report and spoke to the manager, Ralph who said he would get back to me, which he never did. Another two weeks later I receive an sms saying I can collect my camera. When I got there I had to hear that it has not been repaired. Ralph was not in so I spoke to another manager, Elize who agreed to speak to Ralph to contact me. A few days later Ralph contacted me and sent me the repair report, which now stated that "the camera has been dropped" and the screen was cracked. The screen was not cracked upon booking it in - concerning.
Really not impressed with Makro's after service.
