I received a sms stating my Edgars Pin is, my airtime limit is R500 daily/R1000 monthly. Ive never requested airtime, because i have a cell phone contract. I phone the helpline, 0861 788 211 and speak to Mashudu. She tells me I did apply for this service. In order for her to cancel this, i must provide my ID nr, which is not on the system, my name and an alternative contact number. I find this strange, as ive been an Edgars client for more then 20 years! I would like to know how a service can be activated on my account which ive never requested??? If, according to you, i did apply, please provide me with the relevant proof.
