Cell phone contract

I am an edgars account holder and I recently joned ota. On one particular evening I was trying to purchase airtime and selected discounted airtime as I was unaware that it is a contract. I was later told by my service provider that I had joined a contract with Nashua mobile under RNCS.I went to edgars Alberton on the 16th of march to query this and I spoke to an RNCS consultant who told me about terms and conditions which I never heard of. I then told her about the CPA which allows me to cancel my contract within 20 days and she sent the request to head office, I then called again on the 19th of March 2013 and she gave me the same reason again that I couldn't cancel the contract but I again ask if the consumer protection act does not apply to edgars customers? I have contacted my lawyer and I am ready to sue this company
