Edgars offers an "OTA" service to acc holders. it's a service where you can buy airtime and pay with your Edgars bill. 2 months ago i subscribed to have Vodacom airtime sent to my boyfriends number for a discounted rate for 12 months. last month he did not get the airtime, but i was billed the subscription fee. i called the apparent people who are responsible, who then reported back to me that he will get the airtime for the following month, that they will deduct what they billed me and from June everything will be in order. i just received my bill, and i am still being billed for it, my boyfriend has not received ANY airtime. i also notice i am being billed for "SMS AIR SUBSCRI0000" worth R132.00 which i know nothing about. i tried to sort the 1st matter out within the company, but it seems that the only way you get things done is to make it public. i have been with Edgars for years but this has put me off and i am very cautious of how they operate now.
