Slow payer listing on the day the account was paid

I received a message today stating that Edcon has registered a slow payment listing against me. I put money into the account this morning! In a panic i downloaded my credit report from TransUnion and discovered that the account is only 30 days overdue. Being away over the holiday period my account was not paid in December but surely it takes being more than 30 days overdue to register someone as a slow payer?!?
I take my credit rating very seriously and surely it takes more than paying 30 days late to be listed with the credit bureau?
I have had this account for about 7 years and it has never not been paid. I think that being handed over for being 30days overdue is ridiculous and someone better do something about it!
