WOOLWORTHS COLD HEARTED

On June 30th 2013, we took my mom out to shop at woolworths canalwalk. This was her first and sadly her last shopping experience. My Mom passed away that very friday that week, not surviving massive heart attack in the early hours of Monday morning. Its been a month since my mums death and the void and the pain istruly unbearable. My sisters and I are still coming to terms with the fact that we have no mum anymore but we have also been trying to believe that the time leading up to her passing was a happy and peaceful time.
This experience at woolworths Canalwalk sticks out so painfully in my mind. We had been looking at getting mum a new electric blanket for her new bed and were overjoyed to see that Woolworths had a 30% off electric blankets on a promotion counter. We took the Kingsize and asked a customer service lady to keep it aside whilst we were completing theshopping. My mum loved woolworths with a passion. She would take her time to enjoy her shopping experience in both the Foof market and Clothing sections. My mums only account was with Woolworths. How sad that her very last shopping experience had to be a terrible one. She waited 20mins in line to be treated coldly.
