A young guy that I know opened an account at Foschini. He listed me as an employer. Did anyone bother to check his credit rating? Did anyone phone me to check if I have in fact ever employed *anyone*, let alone this young guy? No, the account was just opened without proper checks. Foschini, you enabled him to spend money that he does not have, and now that he cannot pay back, you get attorneys to contact me! Had you done your homework, instead of seeing $$$$$ signs at the prospect of having another customer, this would not have happened.
