I'm expressing my dissappointment with FOSCHNINI Group with regard to controls when opening new accounts. I am in the process of buying a house and I've been held back by FOSCHINI since December 2012. The bank told me that I cannot be granted a bond since my account with FOSCHINI is in arrears. I NEVER opened an account with FOSCHINI and I NEVER received ant statement or any form of communications from FOSCHINI until I was called by their Lawyers stating that I have been handed over. I was told by their lawyers to make an affidavit at the police station and sent it together with my ID and proof of residence. I sent the affidavit to their Lawyers and completed the Dispute forms at FOSCHINI SANDTON, which were then faxed to their Forensics but NOTHING have changed. I also reported the matter and sent the same documents to ITC but still nothing changed. I have called their customer service who referred me to the store to fill the forms for a dispute. MY life is now on hold for nothing. I AM SO DISSAPPOINTED THAT A BIG CORPORATE LIKE FOSCHINI WOULD FAIL TO VALIDATE THE LEGITIMECY OF THE PEOPLE OPENING NEW ACCOUNTS.
