On Sunday 28 July 2013, around midday, my parents and myself went into Foschini Southgate to purchase a shoe. We stood in the q for over 20 minutes to pay, as there were only 2 tills open. Quiet surprising that only 2 tills were open seeing that it was month end.
I approached one of the sales ladys at requested to please speak to the manager on duty. The woman said no problem and never returned.
I then went over to the cosmtics department and asked the lady at the till if it was ok if I paid for a pair of infant's shoe at this till, her repsonse was "IT'S NOT MY TILL, I CANT HELP". Ver disappointed in her attitude, I went acroos to the other till at the cosmetics department and asked the lady the same question, to which she replied "THIS IS A COSMETICS ONLY TILL".
I went back to the q, and a whilst waiting a woman by the name of Martha advised she's the manager, when asked why does she only have 2 tills open and the q's are increasing, she ignored us and went to the back. appered 5 minutes later and still only 2 tills were open.
I will NEVER shop at FOSCHINI SOUTHGATE again, thanks to the pathetic and unfriendly customer service.
