This is not really a complaint but rather a remark.
At PnP Woodlands there is a display and speaker to direct customers to available till points. This has not been used since the shop rennovations.
Last saturday there were 3 managers standing down the lane by the tills directing customers to open tills by shouting "NEXT" and pointing to the till.
I asked the closest manager why they do not use the automated system and he replied that they can do it faster than the display and speaker system.
I see this as highly ineffective, having the highest paid members of staff in the store directing customers to tills when there is a (already paid for) automated system to do the same thing.
