Missing item that was purchased (Saturday)

The Masmart as a group has been doing very well since Mr. Mark Lamberti took over as CEO in 1998. I have been following a service level in terms of customer interaction for their stores for some time i.e. Game, Deon and Macro. This past saturday, 20th of July 2013, i was away with my colleagues from my church. My wife went to buy Infacare for my son for R109.00 at this store that we normally use in Promenade, Mitchell's Plain. She was asked by one staff member to take that tin of baby milk to a desk where a staff member had to removed a bar code related thing. Then, she left other items on a trolley close to the Cashier. Unfortunately, she forgot that can of Infacare No. 2 for R109.00 next to that staff member. Then, she went out of a store and drove away. When she got home, she realised that she had forgotten milk for the child. She went back to that desk where that lady was sitting and lady (staff) was not there. She asked her manager, someone by the name of Zolani Leve was introduced as a manager for that staff member. This person said that lady was in the toilet. He phone her and asked, this lady denied seing that milk. Manager did not show any willingness to assist. Shocking.
