Hi i have been harassed by Norman Bissett & Associates Group about some Edgars account. Anyway, I told them that am under debt Counseling and they should contact my debt counseller and they ask me a letter form my debt counseller which I did .and to stop the harassing year. However, MBD had another money-making scheme up their sleeve: it makes no difference if you make regular payments and never miss a payment, Norman Bissett & Associates Group makes a call and sends an SMS to remind you to not forget to make a payment! They then bill you for all this communication. This may be standard practice, but it does not make it illegal. You cannot charge me for reminders when i make regular payments and miss a payment! I will take up the matter of this account up with my lawyers and the Ombudsman. To compound the matter, the said charges are exorbitant: multiples of standard prices!
