After purchasing LED rope lights from New Neon Lighting, I soon deeply regretted it.
The lights were assembled very poorly at the back of the store - A simple job of connecting and sealing a cable to a light proved too difficult a task for the people that supply the product.
On purchase, the lights were tested in front of me and clearly did not perform as they should have. I was told that it was a problem with the socket and not the lights themselves.
The next day, I returned to the store because one of the lights would not work due to the shabby sealing job.
A few days later, I put the lights to use on a film set. The light again separated from the power cable. When the cable was pushed back in, the the pins made bad contact and the light blew.
I returned the following day to explain for the third time, the problem with the connection sealing.
They would not fix the light or supply me with a new one, nor would they give me an apology for the same problem I had brought up with them before. Yet they admitted that it should have properly been sealed in the first place.
I ended up having to buy a new light, which surprisingly, had the same problem even after asking to reseal it.
