I went to game to check when my cell c contract was up for renewal, the person who assisted me explained that i can upgrade right away. I upgraded my casual chat 100 to the new straight up 100 with the samsung S4 which includes 100minutes, 100sms, 1gb data for R399. i was given the phone had to pay R100.00 admin fee and was told to have my sim card cut so that it would fit in the new phone, which i had done.i waited 24hrs-the usual activation time and then only started using the device, problem: no data loaded 3 days later- so i follow up with cellc who inform me that i would need to goto game to get this resolved as the contract start date reflected 22 July 2013, clearly an admin error.i phoned to enquire with game i was told that i will only be able to use the device on the 22 July 2013 reason being the "old" contract only expires on that day, i have the folling problems with this:1.why was an upgrade even allowed if i could not use the phone.
2.i was told to have my sim card cut and now i cannot use the sim in my old phone. 3. i am reliant on email and cannot use my sim due to having no data package.4. why was not told thta i cannot use my device for over a month. Need answers Asap
