My tv was within 25 days of purchase. The extended warranty underwritten by Hollard was taken at purchase and is no longer viable since tv is. I requested refund from Callcentre on warranty certificate. Spoke to a manager Malcolm who refused and insisted that I must purchase another tv from them and he will transfer it. I told him I was protected by the consumer protection act and as a consumer I should not be forced into this ultimatum. He said I can go to whoever I please as he will not refund me. When I got firm with him on his disrespect and rudeness to me and his assumption that the act was not on my side and that he needed to check his facts before saying anything; he told me that " my friend, you don't know who you dealing with". This was a threat and I refused to go further and put the phone down. Very disgusted with Hirsch and their attitude and their blatant disrespect towards consumers with threats. Bottom line Hirsch have pocketed money for a claim that is never going to happen and they have managers who display thug-like behavior. I will also to the CPA for additional help.
