I have a Hirsch's extended warranty on my Samsung Double door fridge. I reported a fault on my fridge in August 2013. After several calls Hirsch's eventually got a technician to my house. The hinge on the bar door needed to be replaced. Since August all I have had from Hirsch's has been one excuse after the other. This week I was told that the original repair company no longer does work for Hirsch's and that they would have to send a new technician to my house to inspect the fridge. This after 6 months! This after the hinge part has been removed so there is nothing to see! I have phoned three times this week and am still awaiting a response from their Durban office. What does one have to do in order to get their attention? It would seem that their extended warranty is just an empty promise. I won't fall for it again, if I buy there ever again.
