CUSTOMER DISREGARD AND BAD SERVICE

I went to Makro Strubensvalley on 18 June 2013 around 5pm. I drove all the way since they had advertised laundry baskets online valid on 18/06/2013. To my shocking discovery, 5 staff floor members were asked by the home ware & basket sections and they all disputed the sale saying the Makro sale finished on Monday and there is no such sale (R139) for laundry baskets.

We went to the computers by the fridge section and I was told the computer could not search for my item, then we moved onto the next computer by the tv section and was told the same pathetic excuse which isn't really my problem. I had to prove myself after getting the impression that I was confused and possibly making up the sale- from the staffs reaction. I had to give the ladies the item code, which i had with me 224278 then open the link on my cellphone and show the two ladies helping me the sale, which was shown to be valid on 18/06/2013.

At one point the lady assisting me who was not wearing a name badge disappeared and I had to look for her as she just left me standing there. I asked repeatedly to see the store manager but I was never directed to one. I was told I would receive a call 19/06, still waiting
