This complaint should actually go to the NCA as I'm sure Makro has committed an offense according to the NCA rules: My wife and myself continued our Fridge shopping (see earlier complaint against Game) on Sunday 27 Jan 2013 at Makro in Woodmead. We found the fridge we were looking for and to our surprise it was on promotion. Once again the sales assistant told us they had no stock but their Centurion branch did have stock. We asked if we could pay for the item at this store and have the Centurion branch deliver the item but the answer was a resounding "No". He then said they would be getting stock of the item on Wednesday so we asked when the promotion ends and he told us that it ends on Monday. We then asked if we could pay for the fridge at promotion price and wait for stock and again the answer was "No". Surely this sort of practice is no longer allowed since the NCA was implemented? No items are allowed to be "On Sale" if there is no stock on the premises?
