I visited the Ackermans Gateway store this morning as i was aware that they had a R5 / R10 sale on since yesterday.
I asked the staff about the sale and was told they would bring out the stock even though the sale starts at 3pm.
After bring out 2 baskets and 2 boxes of stock of various items, i asked the sales staff what the prices were, i was told the cashier would markdown the stock to R5 or R10 at the till point.
At the tillpoint, the cashier and manager refused to sell me the stock as they then claims that is was current stock! How is that my problem, i had asked for the sale stock and only chose what was identified as sale.
It is not my problem if the stock was mixed, they should have given me the stock and sort out their staffing issues.
The customer is always right and i will NOT be shopping at Ackermans any longer!!!
