Aliminium labels on microvave equipment

I have bought a baby bottle steriliser after use I see it has a hole burn in at the bottom. After investigating I saw that their is a aluminium label affix to the bottom. As far as my knowledge aluminium is not compatible with microwave oven. After going throw the user manual their is no reference to the label on the bottom that its their or need to be removed.
