On the 8th of September I got engaged to my now husband. My engament ring was bought in September from American Swiss in Tygervalley. We had the ring resized. Then 4 months after the ring was bought the ring cracked on the spot where it was resized. We asked the manager about it at the store, she said I must have picked something heavy up and I cracked my white gold ring. My wedding ring is thinner, but was not cracked, so I don't know how that is possible. We sent the ring in to be evaluated and got a report back stating that it is NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR!!! A white gold ring breaks within a 6 month period, because of normal wear and tear. SERIOUSLY??? We contacted the area manager for the group multiple times and left messages, but still no response! Do not buy from American Swiss!! The R7000.00 we paid might not be a lot for them, but for us it is and we expect quality product for that price! Now 9 months later, we still have absolutely no response from them! They gladly take your money for quality products! How the does a gold ring break like that? Extremely bad workmanship and now the client has to pay! Pathetic!!!
