Im so unhappy with the service i have received from them. my husband bought my wedding ring from them early last year (round about june 2012) but i only got to wear it after our wedding of course that was in september 2012.by January 2013, my 'white gold' ring was no longer round but sqaure. i took the ring back and was told it will be exammined. after a few months they phoned me to tell me that I have to pay in R700 odd for the repairs on the ring due to it not being a manufacturing fault and that i was at fault. how can it be my fault?? i wore the ring like im suppose to. what upsets me even more is that fact that i am planning on wearing that ring for the rest of my life... how many times will i have to send it in for repairs if it needed repairs after only 3 months? I did not receive one 'quote' or phonecall telling my how much i would have to pay in if they do the repairs, they just went and did it and now im stuck with the bill. I got quotes from jewellers in the area and they quoted me R70 for the repairs on my ring. where does american swiss come with their R700? totally unacceptable.
