I bought an ice diamond ring 9ct on the 30 March 2013.The ring has small diamonds of which I noticed that the diamonds are lose, one fell out and I took the ring to American Swiss where I bought the ring 3 months ago. The ring is still under waranty, a 6 month waranty period applies. The store assistant told me that I would have to pay for the lost diamond and I asked why this is the case since the ring is under waranty. I was told that it was because the ring was resized. The ring was resized at the american swiss after I bought it, so I don't understand why it would not be under waranty because it was resized. They now took the ring and said they'll send it to the jeweler that they had sent the ring to for resizing and if the jeweler does not repair the ring then they can't do anything about it.
This is completely wrong, if they can't fix the ring I should at least be refunded.
