I have lost count at the number of times Pick n Pay pharmacy has issued us with incorrect medication. My parents being on chronic medication require monthly pills and time after time we have been issued with either incorrect medication or incorrect dosages.
On Saturday, 15th June 2013 my sister went to the pharmacy to fill a previous script. Its 3 months into the script. The script was for 500mg Glucophage tablets twice a day. The Pharmacist issued 850mg tablets twice a day! Such incompetence is unacceptable especially since it can have a negative effect on a person's life and health! I strongly suggest that the Pharmacist are held accountanble and such incidents must be dealt with!
