My husband ordered a cake at spar on Wednesday the 12/06/2013 and he told me to collect on Friday 1pm and i phoned spar to cancel the order on Thursday morning as i wanted them to make it on Saturday and the guy who answered a phone told me he will tell the lady who is responsible with orders to call me, to my surprise they didn't call and on Friday morning i called them again to make sure that my order was cancelled for Friday and they told me that my cake is ready they didn't get any massage i spoke to the bakery manager and she also said she will phone me now now and she never phoned me i had to drive from Midrand to brodacres because she didn't' call.when i get there the cake was ready and they said the lady who didn't tell them to cancel a cake order will buy that cake as they cant take a loss and premised to make me a new cake on Saturday to my surprise when i went to collect on Saturday the very same cake was where i left it and i asked the Lady's when was that cake baked, they told me that it was left there from Friday .i didn't have a choice as it was my daughters party at 1pm and when we cut the cake it was not fresh.we had to throw it in a bin on Sunday.
