My husband bought a blackberry 9300 for me which worked for about 3 weeks until it started giving problems. Upon purchase we asked if the phone's software should be upgraded as blackberry was offering this service for free in the Mall, but the sales person at Edgars cellphone desk said its not necessary as its a new handset. So when the phone started giving problems, I first thought it was the battery, which I replaced. this still didnt work! It charged but as soon as you wanted to use it for ANYTHING, it just died on me. I got another new battery but still I had the same problem. I eventually tested both new batteries on my son's phone and they work perfectly. This tells me its the phone that's problematic. I took the phone back to Edgars and got the most appalling service from them. they promised to call within 15 days after the phone was sent to the service provider but 20 days later I had to contact them. then they couldnt find the phone and again promised to call with no avail! now they advise that tgere's nothing wrong with the phone and insist I take back a phone that DOES NOT WORK! I cannot get hold of the store manager which I left messages for to call my husband or myself
