Was contacted by a representative from Homemark to the effect I was a winner of a draw and the Price consisted out of a set of cooking pots. The catch however was that I still had to fork out an amount to be considered for the Price. Unfortunately the amount was deducted from my account before i could stop payment thereof. In the same breath I was informed that the cookware was similar to that of the AMC range. Incidentally I worked at AMC and know the quality and range of their cookware. When I received the pots it was a far cry from the AMC range and refused delivery as per my rights.
I have lodged complaints with the NCC against Homemark for unethical conduct to no avail. It appears that the NCC is hand in glove with the unscrupulous actions of Homemark. I have made several failed attempts to have the issue resolved with Representatives from Homemark including Norton and Herman yet I'm still waiting on a resolution 6 months down the line. To me the reputation of Homemark as a direct selling organisation is low and I challenge their standing as a reputable organisation.
