No ipad after 7 days and no help from staff membe

I went to do an upgrade last week Monday (04 March 2013) for a 32-GIG Ipad with 2G data, I paid for the connection and bought a new data sim card and some data because I was told I will only get data the data at the beginning of next month. I was told I would get the ipad (white) on Tuesday (05 March 2013) because stock arrives on Tuesday. I went on Tuesday and I was told to come back on Friday. I went again on Friday and found and not so friendly guy who told me the ipad was on back order (whatever that means). I went again to the shop today (11 March 2013) and asked that they check with the suppliers as waiting for seven working days for something that I was supposed to get on the same day is not acceptable. The person I got today was also not very helpful, even raised their voice at me??? Can someone urgently assist as I am frustrated by the kind of service whereby no one has a clue when am I gonna get the product???
