Refusing to assist with exchange

I sent you an email on Thursday (30/05/2013) no one came back to me as I also called you on Thursday and Saturday (01/06/2013) no one answered the phone. I went to your branch in Nyanga Junction, Shop 12B Duinefontein Road Manenberg, Gatesville where I bought the boot and the manager told me it's not factory fault and It's my fault and I do not understand how it is my fault the shoe was damaged within a week and told me she cannot help me without a box, whereby no one explained to me that I cannot exchange without a box. I do not want refund I only want to exchange for another boot because I cannot spend R455 on something that could hardly last a week. If you do not exchange I will dump the boot in your shop because I can see you do not care about customers.
Today (03/06/2013) I called their complaints department and I spoke to Dorret and she told me to go back to the shop and they should call call her, and she told me I should know the act that states we need to keep a box in order to be assisted, which is I do not understand how you do not tell custormers but you expect them to know. I need to waste my petrol money for your cheap material because now I need to go back to the shop.
