I purchased a kingsize bed set from the Dial-a-Bed store in Bylsbridge on the 5th of May 2013. I paid in full and was only then notified that the bed is a special order and I will have to wait a maximum of 14 days! I accepted this, but still found it distasteful that this bed is in the showroom, but not in stock. Bad business practice.
I waited patiently and was notified that the bed would be delivered on Saturday the 18th of May 2013 no later than 11:00, already a maximum waiting period of two weeks. I telephoned at 08:00 sharp and was assured that the bed was scheduled and soon to be on-route. At 13:08 I was telephoned by an unknown personage from the delivery company, I assume, informing me that they have wasted a day of my time as the delivery will only occur on the following Monday.
At 14:00 today (Monday the 20th of May 2013) I telephoned again only to be notified that the delivery had yet again been botched and will take place on Tuesday the 21st of May 2013... 16 days after purchase.
I am shocked at the lack of ethic and professionalism of Dial-a-bed, and blatant disregard of customers' time and leaves a grave shadow of doubt over the quality of the actual pro
