On Saturday 18th May 2013 I entered the Mr Price store in Vangate Mall to return a few items, upon reaching the tillpoint I was told I cannot return the items purchased on account with only the receipt. I approached the manager who told me that this was the policy. I left the store furious as this is not stated anywhere in the store or on the receipt. I then contacted their headoffice who could not answer as to why if this was their policy it is not stated anywhere. I was then placed on hold without being informed that I was going to be put on hold and when asked why the consultant hung up the telephone. I called back and spoke with someone else who told me the policy differed from store to store. I then wanted to know how this was possible. She could not answer me, but informed me that I could be assisted with only a receipt. I was appalled by the service at the store and headoffice, no one ever apologized for the incident and to think they do not know their own policies. How pathetic
