My Husband was accused of shoplifting on Wednesday 15/01/13. The security @ Totalsports in Wynberg Cape Town apprehended him in the road and took him back to the store. They didn't find any thing on him, the police was called as well but they said they can't charge him cause he didn't take anything from the store.
He admitted that he was gonna take a t shirt but put it back after he removed the tag in the fitting room.
The manager then insisted that he pay for the t shirt and he said that he doesn't have money. The manager then suggested he leave his cellphone (that i am paying for) as collateral to pay off the t shirt and when he paid it finish he can have his phone and the t shirt. I've contacted the head office spoke to someone there but didn't get any reply yet.
